Our sewing class take place in NYC at our fashion design schools located on the Upper East Side and Upper West Side in Manhattan.
The Fashion Class offers other fashion design courses including creative lessons on trend forecasting, fashion history, fashion entrepreneurship, textile design and fabric science. Our multi-week classes begin seasonally and include fashion design and sewing, accessory design class, jewelry design classes, fashion illustration classes, and fashion marketing classes; all for Kids and Teens!

Toddler Craft Classes and Little Kid's Sewing Classes (Ages 2 to 6) are one-time workshops, Mommy and Me sewing lessons, and multi-week courses throughout the year. Ages 5-6 will sew in their own dedicated after-school class with easy sewing projects. All classes are project based meaning your little one will leave with something they created!
Kids Fashion Classes (ages 7 to 12) run for multiple weeks throughout the school year in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. Our sewing students learn to sew real and wearable clothing in our signature Fashion Design and Sewing class over a 5-7 week period. All sewing projects for kids are simple yet teach the basic and intermediate skills needed to learn to sew clothing.
Teen Fashion Design Classes in NY also run seasonally, after school and on weekends. Teenage design students (ages 13 and up), focus on creativity as they design clothing – learning to sew as they create a garment from concept to creation. Our students in the teen fashion classes typically sketch a fashion design, learn to create a pattern based on their measurements, then cut and sew their original garment, just like a true fashion designer!
Our teachers combine real-world experience with specialized training and bring kindness and empathy along with energy and enthusiasm to the classroom. Teachers have degrees in art, fashion, and design plus experience in the fashion industry, and all instructors pass The Fashion Class Teacher Training. Through our unique project-based curriculum your child can learn to sew and design real fashion!
