Girl Scout Activities for Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes

At The Fashion Class studios we love to host girl scout activities for brownies, juniors and cadettes! Have your girl scout meeting with us as you earn key badges or fun patches. We also host girl scout field trips for anywhere from five to thirty girl scouts.

Girl Scout Activities for Brownies

Our Brownie troop activities include earning fun badges and patches such as the Love to Sew badge, Arts and Crafts badge, Mom and Me badge and Jewelry Making badge. Take your Brownie troop on a field trip to learn how to sew, how to design fashion, crafting and art or jewelry making. Check out our Brownie Activity Menu Below.

Girl Scout Junior Activities

Earn Girl Scout badges for your Junior troop with our carefully crafted lessons or earn a fun badge in the areas of sewing, fashion design, arts and crafts or jewelry making! Our badge-earning lessons include:

Junior Drawing Badge

Girl Scouts will learn to use different art materials, add shading and perspective as they complete a drawing masterpiece focused on fashion illustration.

Junior Product Design Badge

Your Girl Scout troop will observe what makes a great product, brainstorm to invent a problem solving product, design their invention, revise and edit and lastly decide which materials they would use to create it.

Junior Jeweler Badge

In this workshop Junior Girl Scouts will learn the tools and methods to create jewelry. They’ll first make a trendy choker necklace using metal wire and a charm, their next project will use an everyday object: the bobby pin to create another fab necklace. A fun way to fulfill the Jewelry Patch requirements.

Girl Scout Cadette Activities

Troops may earn their Cadette Entrepreneurship Badge with our fun design based entrepreneurship lesson. First cadette scouts will brainstorm a business idea centered around designing a product. They’ll improve on their idea through a group discussion and then choose materials to make their product. We’ll get into the financial side of their design to determine their selling price and complete the business creation with a name and logo! Cadettes can also earn fun badges at our studio with sewing, arts and crafts and illustration lessons!

Girl Scout Activities and Field Trip Lessons

Pricing includes all supplies and a Fashion Badge provided by us that can be added to the fun patch section of your scout’s vest. Official Girl Scout Badges must be ordered by the Troop Leader via the Girl Scouts website, we cannot provide official Girl Scout badges.

Love to Sew Fun Badge

Scouts will learn to sew on a real sewing machine to create a one-of-a-kind mini skirt, tote bag, scrunchies or throw pillow! All Fabric Included.

Arts and Crafts Fun Badge

Earn the Arts and Crafts fun badge with fashion illustration; sketch your design then choose from real fabric, buttons, and sequins to create a textured 3D masterpiece!

Jewelry Making Fun Badge

Calling all future jewelry designers! Troops will work on a fabulous and age appropriate piece; puzzle piece friendship necklaces for ages 6-7, wrap choker necklaces for ages 9 +

Mom and Me Fun Badge

Moms and dads can join in on the fun during any of our troop lessons to earn the Mom and Me fun badge! Learn to sew, design and more at our Girl Scout destination

Junior Drawing Badge

Junior Girl Scouts will learn to use colored pencils and copic markers to create a gorgeous fashion drawing, adding shading and perspective as they create.

Junior scouts will invent their own problem solving product, sketch it out and choose the raw materials that they’d create it from. This is a drawing activity only.
