Ages 2–4 | Toddler & Preschool Sewing Classes

It’s never too early to discover the joy of sewing! Sew & Grow is The Fashion Class’s specially designed sewing program for toddlers and preschoolers. Using child-friendly plastic needles, colorful fabrics, and simple hand-sewing techniques, our youngest designers learn to create real projects they can wear, use, and proudly show off!

From adorable accessories and decorations to bags and simple clothing, every project is designed to build confidence, encourage creativity, and develop important early childhood skills.

Real Sewing for Little Hands

Who says you have to be big to sew something amazing?

In Sew & Grow, children learn the fundamentals of hand sewing through fun, age-appropriate projects. Our instructors break down each step into manageable activities, helping little makers discover the satisfaction of creating something from start to finish.

No sewing machines or sharp needles required! We use plastic sewing needles and carefully selected materials to introduce young children to sewing in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

What Will Your Little Designer Make?

Every class brings a new creative adventure! Projects may include:

• Bags & Pouches: Little totes, purses, and other useful creations.
• Clothing: Simple wearable projects made just for them.
• Fashion Accessories: Fun pieces to wear and show off.
• Decorations: Colorful seasonal crafts and handmade treasures.

Each project introduces new skills while giving children plenty of opportunities to make their creations uniquely their own.

Learning Through Sewing

Sew & Grow is about much more than making something cute! Hand sewing supports important developmental milestones while encouraging children to explore their creativity.

• Fine Motor Development: Threading, stitching, and manipulating fabric help strengthen hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
• Problem-Solving: Children learn to follow steps, make decisions, and work through creative challenges.
• Confidence & Independence: Completing a real sewing project gives little makers a wonderful sense of accomplishment.
