We have two Brooklyn locations; Bensonhurst and Park Slope. Our Bensonhurst school is located at 2116 86th Street in Brooklyn, NY. Our Park Slope school is located at the Gowanus Arts Building 295 Douglass Street. Our weekend and after school sewing classes for children run throughout the school year for 12 weeks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. Our summer design camp runs during the day throughout the week.

Fashion Art + Design is a class for creative students ages 6 through 13 years old.  Students learn all about fashion design by sketching the fashion figure, creating a style book of their favorite fashion images, designing their own fabric, and drawing clothing. This is a great starter class for a budding fashionista who wants to learn to design clothing. Students learn to sew by hand but do not work on sewing machines.  The class will conceptualize their own clothing line with a name, logo, and collection. This class ends with a fashion show and gallery exhibition for parents and friends.

Fashion Design + Sewing is a great class for budding fashionistas (6 -13yrs)  who want to learn how to make their own clothing.  Students learn to use the sewing machine to create clothing for themselves. Projects change each semester but include a denim skirt, PJ pants, a tote bag, and a re-constructed t-shirt. Our little designers are given free reign to stylize and decorate their creations with our Bedazzler,  fabric paint, ribbon and trim so each product has their own unique touch. This class ends with a fashion show for parents and friends.

Fashion Haute Couture (pronounced ōt ko͞oˈto͝or) focuses on the fancier side of fashion design. Students (6-13) will learn how to make garments using sewing machines and  hand techniques. This class is great for students with a bit of sewing experience however beginners are welcome. Projects include creating a re-constructed prom dress, millinery, and using unconventional materials! We’ll also look at couture designers and fashion shows to see how these ethereal pieces are created. This class ends with a fashion show for parents and friends.
