Our classes are split into different age groups – usually children 6-13 years old and teenagers 13-18 years old.

We offer 1-10 week courses in the Winter, Fall, Spring, and Summer. Our sewing classes cover everything from the basics of sewing to pattern making, draping,and  embellishment. Our fashion drawing classes cover sketching, painting, branding, and fabric design all related to the fashion field.

At the end of each course we hold a free fashion show for parents and friends. Our students walk the runway in their own creations. It’s a fun and fabulous way to see what we’ve been working on.

Our Tools: We work on simple “home” sewing machines that are easy to use and versatile. Many of our students decide to purchase their own sewing machines for home and this allows them to find something affordable that they already know how to use! We also use scissors, glue guns, feathers, beads, a BeDazzler, and much more. We’ve been known to organize field trips to Mood, or another of our favorite stores to allow the students to choose their own fabric and trim.

Occasionally (mostly during summer) we’ll visit a designer showroom or office to see what it’s really like to be a fashion designer. (See Tommy Hilfiger!)

All supplies are included in our fee and all students keep their creations

Classes have no more than 10 students and are always taught by a professional designer who loves to sew plus a teaching assistant.
