About Us

The fashion class began in 2010 as a summer camp in Brooklyn NY. Today The Fashion Class operates in four locations throughout NYC; Midtown Manhattan, Upper East Side, Upper West Side and Brooklyn.

We offer classes for children ages 6-13 years old and teenagers 13-18 years old in the areas of fashion design, sewing, and accessory design. Our courses run for 10 weeks throughout the school year with after school and weekend class options.

The Fashion Class students take home what they’ve made throughout the course and all supplies are included! Plus each class ends with a free fashion show for family and friends.

Our students learn how to sew and draw fashion by actually working on projects. They learn how to conceptualize clothing and make it come to life either on paper or with the sewing machine.

We have excellent instructors who currently work in the industry as apparel, costume, and accessory designers as well as fashion illustrators whose clients range from Sesame Street to Target!

Kerri Quigley, our founder, is a Parsons School of Design grad who ran her own clothing line for several years, sold to international boutiques & Bloomingdales. When not teaching she’s designing dog apparel and styling photo-shoots.
